You can apply for a Port Pass card by clicking the above apply now button BUT before you start you will need:

Please apply for your Port Pass card at least one (1) day before you need to access the port or related secure facility.
As soon as you’ve applied, you’ll need to confirm the email address you provided during registration.
An email will be sent to the person providing the payment for the Port Pass card (either yourself or the company you registered with). Port Pass cards are issued at a cost of NZD$50.000 including GST per card.
Once payment has been accepted, you will receive an email containing your Port Pass log in details. You need to sign in to Port Pass and complete the induction for the port (or facility) you want to access.
Once you’ve completed the induction, you will receive an email instructing you to go to the port (or facility) and collect your Port Pass card.
When collecting your Port Pass card you will need to provide the ID you registered with as proof of identity.
